06.04.2008 Day volunteer. In early April the garden and our friends are members of the organization "New Acropolis" helped us in cleaning the area around the Botanical Gardens. 25.05.2007 in the Botanic Garden of Tver State University held a master class "Drawing the plants together." From 12 to 25 July 2007 held year-old practice of students of biological faculty TSU, which was held in Irkutsk and Lake Baikal! So far we have never gone! Distance from Tver to Lake Baikal - about 5500 km. " This practice was the result of collaboration between the Botanical Garden of Tver State University and the Botanical Garden of Irkutsk State University. Developed a joint program included a visit to Lake Baikal, is the subject of the natural heritage of UNESCO. Students work in the Baikal national park in the village of Big Cats. We got acquainted with the flora and vegetation in Siberia, visited the protected "core" of the national park and take a stroll to the bay "incense" 17 km from the shore of Lake Baikal! The practice traveled to Irkutsk, acquainted with the work and programs of the Botanical Garden of Irkutsk State University and assisted in the work, take part in optimizing the exposure garden. 13.05.2007 in the Botanic Garden of Tver State University opens "festival of spring flowers. This event was made possible by the administration of Tver, to allocate funds, which were purchased bulbs of tulips and the dedicated work of staff of the garden, created beautiful display! Visitors to the garden became acquainted with the history of cultivation of tulips in Europe, saw modern varieties. 22.04.2012. Bird Day. A traditional family festival "Bird Day" was held in the Botanic Garden of Tver State University as early as the 13th time. The holiday has collected hundreds of large and small residents of our city. The garden was a lot of bright primroses, bumble bees, butterflies and birds. Associate Professor, Department of Zoology Tver SU Alla Yemelyanova had a wonderful interactive tour of the birds in our garden and the city. We have learned to recognize birds by their appearance and by the sounds of their songs. We learned how to make colorful paper cranes - origami with our friends from the Cultural Center "New Acropolis". Along with Natasha Dedova children and adults do amazing funny ducks out of paper. Under the canopy of century-old trees in the park was buzzing and was smoking a real samovar with fragrant botanical tea brand. On a sunny Sunday afternoon the Botanic Garden of Tver State University and Tver Ecological Club invited residents to join the action Greenpeace «Green weekend». Director of the Botanic Garden of Tver State University Yury Naumtsev was invited to the presentation of the Yaroslavl regional stage. It was a real regional festival.
